RETURN POLICY

We need to be notified of a return prior to shipping the return.  We are only accepting returns for items that have printing errors, wrong items, damaged, or defective items.

All returned items must still have the original tags/stickers on them.

Returned merchandise must be unworn and unwashed. Items that appear worn, have stains, or smell of cigarette smoke, deodorant, pet hairs or odors, etc. will not be accepted. If an item has been worn once, it will not qualify for a return.

 

DEFECTS OR PROBLEMS WITH YOUR ORDER

If you have received an item with any problems or defects, please contact us within 3 days to inform us of the issue. If we are not notified within 3 days of receiving the item, then it will no longer qualify for a return or replacement. You must include a photo of the damage / defect with your email.

We are not responsible for damages to clothing caused by improper care or handling, or incorrect sizing.  If an item seems to have been damaged by the courier service, we will gladly send you a replacement by following the above-mentioned steps.

Exact colors of merchandise may vary due to photography lenses, indoor / outdoor lighting, and computer monitor resolutions. Clothing patterns may also vary. These situations do not qualify as defects and the buyer will pay return shipping if a return to our warehouse is attempted.

 

DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED ITEMS PROCESS

  1. Within 3 days of receiving item, send pictures of the defective or damaged area to darkmaresociety@gmail.com, including the tag in the image showing it is still attached.

  2. Indicate "Defective" or "Damaged" in the subject line.

  3. Include the first and last name on your Dark Mare Society account, order #, and product code/name of the item.

You will receive a response from our customer service support team within 24-72 hours.

 

EXCHANGES

We are currently not accepting any exchanges.

Please note, orders cannot be changed, modified, or canceled after checkout.

SHIPPING

Shipping and order processing can take at minimum 4 - 5 business days to be processed and packaged before heading out for delivery.  Please give domestic shipments an additional week to be delivered.  Printing facilities have been backed up due to COVID, but we hope that fulfillment and delivery of items will become faster as time moves on.  We are not responsible if the package is not delivered in the guaranteed shipping times.

All shipments include tracking information.  If your tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to your order address, but you have not received your order, please contact the courier directly to investigate this issue. We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states the package has been delivered to your order address.  In some rare cases, tracking information may not update, but you will still receive your order. Please contact us after the estimated delivery time has passed.



WRONG ADDRESS DISCLAIMER

It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that she or he enters the shipping address correctly. We are not responsible if a package is shipped back to us due to an incorrect or non-deliverable address. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping times, leaving us with very little time to cancel/change your order or to change the address of the order. If you decide to cancel your order or change your shipping address, please write to us at darkmaresociety@gmail.com as soon as you place your order.

ATTENTION ALL CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF USA:

We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes or duties. You are responsible for all applicable customs, duties, taxes and fees charged by your government. Please contact your country's customs office for respective charges and rates on package coming outside of your country. International customers (outside of United States) are responsible for all import duties, customs, and local taxes charged by your country. We are unable to advise the amount of what these fees might be & we recommend that you contact your country's customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates on a package coming outside of your country.

In order to comply with any applicable laws and regulations, we must inform all of our customers of the following.  When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for store purchases only.  We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.  We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
